Who made these grips? Looking for the most compact grips that can accommodate at least part of the pinky. These look right. The wood is nice too

Not Badgers or Hogue

Notice the open bottom and room for half a pinky groove. I've been modifying Mustangs to accomplish my goal but haven't hit the sweet spot yet. The pictured ones look like "it"

Judging from the shape, type of wood and the brass hardware, I'd guess they are from one of the ebay vendors in Thailand.

This... down to the low gloss clear coat applied to the wood... If you are on a budget and/or the gun they are going on is a true beater/down and dirty knock around gun the Thailand Grips are a good option.

Or if you have a like new Model 60-4 that you want to look good and handle perfectly, and if you can get a pair of these ebony-looking grips from Thailand. It certainly doesn't qualify as a "true beater" but if I need to get "down and dirty" it will do fine until I can get to my Remington 870. Grips don't have to come from one of the big name custom makers to give good service (nor good looks as well.) JMHO and of course YMMV! :D

Safe queens may look better in high gloss. Working guns that may get held by sweaty hands are better with anything else. Besides, I personally don't like the look of high gloss. The grips posted by the OP look nice but personally I like smaller grips on a J frame. I'll forgo the pinky rest in exchange for compactness. But whatever works.

Yes Thai vendor on eBay. I'll stick with my Mustangs .(American made)for now. Will continue to work on them until they fit right. Thanks guys

These are Badger grips on my 63. I know they're square butt, but the cut and appearance looks the same. They fit my fat hands.

Altamont grips have an option for you to consider. I have their j frame BATELEUR grip. It covers the front and back strap and extends enough to get my pinky on. I like that the grip fills my hand more and comfortably forces a higher grip. It may not allow use of a speedloader but I prefer speed strips anyway. It conceals fine in my shorts with deep pockets but would not fit in any of the pockets of my jeans.

I attached a couple of pictures so you can see the grips and the size compared to the frame.

Luv Altamonts

I've tried the boot grip, too small, the Bateluer, too big. I have the Combat on the brides M60. What I posted above is what i'm trying next.

I have Altamonts; several to choose from. I like the Classic Panels myself. My 340PD has the top one on now, Croc Back/Stippled. Here's a few others to check out too.
