I picked up some mags to use with my 469 and I can't figure out who made them. They're marked "made in Italy" so I thought the might be Mec-Gars, but there's no logo. Any ideas?

I bought some of those recently from CDNN when they were on sale for $14.99. I guess the political climate made me do it since I don't currently have any double stack pistols. They are probably one of the best magazine bargains around.

To the OP, these will work well with the adapters.

Outstanding! I used to have several of those back when I had my 6906.

The leading "MG" on the stamped part number ensures that those are Mec-Gar magazines. They should work perfectly well.

MecGar's are the only aftermarket mags I trust with 3rd Gens, just wish they had made some hi-cap 4006 mags.

Where would one purchase these adapters?

I've seen them on ebay but they're getting pricey. I'm hoping someone has another source.

That's it, but I think $23 shipped is a little steep. It looks like they can still be had directly from Precision Gun Spectalties.

I use the 15rd MecGar mags in my Model 59 for my range sessions. They work perfectly.

I have 5 of the 15rd S&W mags from Midway.A gun show dealer is selling them at $65.

I have 12 original S&W 14rd metal base, six are new in the gun boxes.

They're a better investment than the guns

I'm going to hitchhike on this. If I have a OEM S&W magazine for my 4040PD that's made in the USA, Who most likely made it?

Thanks.

Ab4ka you are correct, Precision Gun Specialties is the cheapest place to buy them.[emoji106]

If my memory serves me right they get $7.50 each + shipping.
You can not order from there web site, you will have to call them.
Great people to deal with.[emoji106]
