Who Would You Stand in Line To Meet?

Politician - 41 or 43
Hollywood Type - maybe Eastwood
Pundit - maybe Rush

....I see a pattern here

Considering you have ruled out Christ, I assume God is out also. If he or she must be breathing I would have to say no one. I have hign opinions of many people but don't feel the need to stand in line for hours to meet them for 10 seconds or less.

Given the limits you have imposed, and my belief that I will not have to stand in line to meet Him in person, I must say that my experiences in the service left me with a few, but only a few quirks.

One is that I will not stand in line for any reason if there is any possibility that I can avoid it.

I cannot think of anyone I would stand in line to meet.

EDITED to add:

I think W is the closest to the living, breathing man I might like to talk with, as I did not always agree with him, but believed he always tried to do the "right" thing for our country.

Maybe I didnt make myself clear as why I would like to meet Osamba bin lauden. Obvisely it would be to tear his throat out.

I hate waiting in lilnes and can not think of one single person famous or infamous that I would wait in line to meet. With that being said I don't mind waiting (and will gladly do it again and again) in line to pick up my daughter at school or after dance practice.

this throat tearing things been done to death ....
I'd do it to feed him dog pee intravenously prior to mailing his spine to his mother .... but thats for another thread pertaining to the fine art of the well crafted threat

Standing in Line

For those who have never HAD to stand in line for your food, mail, clothes, whatever, don't understand the mentality of those of us who were compelled to do such sordid things against our will. Once I left the good ole USMC on my own two feet, I swore then and there I would NEVER stand in line to eat again or for too much of anything else, and I haven't! PO'd some folks along the way, but, they got over it, I guess, or don't care!
Not too many living, breathing souls I'd stand in much of a line to meet.

Sir, I'll occasionally stand in line to meet a bartender, but that's about it.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

I'm with those who say nobody. (Feralmerril's choice excepted.)

I take a perverse pride in ignoring celebrities. Often it is news to me when someone tells me somebody is a celebrity.

At Chiller Theatre here in NJ in April, 2008 I waited in line about an hour to get an autograph from WWII veteran Ernest Borgnine-also shook hands with him. In April 2009 I waited about 45 minutes to get an autograph from WWII veteran Tony Curtis, who recently left us. Also waited about 30 minutes to get an autograph from WWII veteran Mickey Rooney.
Regarding people waiting in line to meet W, anyone who shows up unannounced at an airport to greet returning troops is worth waiting in line
for.

Nobody. Anyone that I consider worthy of standing in line to meet is already dead.

Winston Churchill

Audie Murphy

Teddy Roosevelt

Ike

Hitler (If only to ask, "What the (blank) were you thinking??"

and (saving the best for last)
Jesus of Nazareth
