Who's Your Favorite Television Character of Characters?

I don't watch enough TV to have a favorite.

I know what you mean. I used to see the VHS tapes in Blockbuster (remember those?) but somehow the description on the back didn't sound interesting. One day I was at a friend's house and the movie was on tv......he made me watch it! I regretted not renting it years earlier

I have to go with Al Bundy, a man cursed by marrying a member of the Wanker Family (Peg). He hated his life, he dismissed his wife, but stayed loyal to her even when offered a better deal. He was always protective of "Pumpkin", Kelly, and kept her from being taken advantage of. And took Bud to the "Nudie Bar" when he came of age, where they both got the opportunity to kick some serious butt and bond as father and son. When his precious "Dodge" was stolen, all he wanted was a photo of the family he kept in the trunk. Despite his faults and failures, his family would always stick together with him against a common enemy.

I guess I would have to hang with the entire cast of Blue Bloods. Tom Selleck and that bunch are hard to beat. Barney Fife runs a really close second though!
