Greatest generation, ages 89 and older - 3 million.
Silent generation, ages 71- 88 - 26.2 million.
Boomers, ages 52 -70 - 72.9 million.
Generation X - 65.9 million.
Millennials, ages 36- 51 - 65.9 million.
Generation Z, ages18 and younger, 77.9 million. *

Age math, but seems to me, you would want your target audience to be where the money is? I understand the bias in this reporting considering the source, AARP.
There are tables from various sources for wealth per age group etc. but all seem to delve into a 'p' area which is a topic that is not discussed here.
