Why are Magna Grips Too Wide for my Model 19-5?

I've bought two pairs of Magnas supposedly for K Frames and both pair protrude well past the front strap by about 1/16"-1/8". They're also oversize at the horn.
At this point I've bought two sets of Magnas and the pair of Targets that it's wearing now. The Targets fit the gun just fine but are a bit too large for my hands so I'd prefer Magnas.
I don't want to put aftermarket grips on if I can help it and I'm tired of spending money for stuff that doesn't fit.
Do you guys have any ideas?

Possibly so. I was wondering about that, but I thought there would be more of a size difference. However that means I was sold two pairs of wrong size grips from two different sellers.
I'll have to find/buy a set here from someone who knows what they're selling.

Can you post a pic of the grip backsides, specifically the washer? The distance from the washer edge to the grip edge isn't the same between K and N frame stocks. Members have posted pics with dimensions before but I didn't save them, otherwise I'd re-post.

You can tell by the width of the flats on both sides of the black stock circle inserts that they are N. If the flat or ledge looks bigger than the peened over medallion post in the inserts it is likely for an N. I'm sure you could trade them for what you want by putting a WTT in the accessories for sale & trade forum.

Pictured here are K/L Magnas. The ledge each side of the washer is about 3,5-4 mm.
Sorry I don't have any N wood grips for comparison.

Look up the serial number stamped on the grips and it should tell you what gun it is off of.

I'll do that, but where can I find the grip numbers? I tried to find them yesterday but was unsuccessful.
