Asked of me at the LGS today.

It only took a second to formulate my answer:

"If it was good enough for John Wayne, Jack Webb and Broderick Crawford...it's good enough for me."

The only name he knew was John Wayne...pity.

Because there are very bad people out there and a kind word does not always work on everybody.
Right now I'm not carrying "A" revolver. I'm carrying two.

Simple. It works. It always works. It's small. It's small enough that I always have it with me. And, most importantly, it works.

I generally carry my 642 in the right front pocket of my jeans, cargo shorts or other "pants." On Sundays, I carry in an ankle holster on my left leg in dress pants or docker-style pants.

And, of course, it always works. No break-in periods, no FTFs, no malfunctions, no problems.

That is the only "larger than a J frame" I have ever been tempted to buy!!!

If this thread is about revolver vs auto it's KISS (keep it simple stupid)

If this thread is about why I carry a gun it's about punctuation after saying the word NO..... 5 periods from a 642
