Why I could never be a Baltimore police officer...

Got started before the riots. Loved what I did. Did better than 27 years. Family issues made me retire. Wife made more money than I as an RN..so I took care of family...and the farm..and the gun shop etc etc.

Why do you think so many folks are moving to the mountains when they retire? You can defend yourself legally there.

Here in Mississippi we didn't have problems that couldn't be worked out amongst ourselves until recent years. Since we don't have a problem marrying cousins and all, any problem is really a family problem and we don't need any outsiders, including the police, sticking there nose in. Unless, of course, the police officers are kin.

Now a days, though we have so many northerners {pronounced with your nose turned up as though you'd just stepped in a damp cow pie} moving in and bringing new cultural problems with them that we ain't never had to deal with before. I mean, really, we may have our own inbred family issues to sort through amongst ourselves but we ain't never had a problem figuring out which outhouse to use.
