I never use a debit card on line. Only a credit card that I especially have for on line use. Has been replaced twice for being compromised. Always have a new card in 2 days.

I always pay cash when I gas up my truck. Our local tv station reported that those gizmo's that steal credit card info in one of the gas stations where I regularly gas up my truck. They estimate that over 700 credit card numbers were scanned. So some folks are in for a shock when they find out about this. I once ordered some ammo and a few days later the bank closes out my credit card because someone tried to buy a pack of smokes to see if it was a good number. Called the ammo company and gave them the reference number and told them about the stolen credit card data. Since this is a family run business they told me that they take this very seriously. Few days later they call back and told me they found out who tried to buy the smokes with my credit card data. They fired him and turned things over to the police who arrested him. Frank
