About to purchase some bulk M855 5.56 ammo and was looking at Widerner's. Anybody buy from them? GTG? Also looking at Ammo To Go and Palmetto.

I've purchased from Widerner's in the past with no problems.

I to have had no problems with them or their service.
If you buy a case lot it'll most likely come in the original box with no outer protection - may not be an issue but it could. Bought a case of 9mm about three months ago from them and that is the way it was shipped. Came thru fine but just to let you know.

I've only ordered primers from wideners but their serviece was good, I have bought a lot of ammo from ammo to go and have never had a bad experience with them and the prices are great.

I've ordered from Wideners since 2007, always shipped quickly, and took care of a mistake on an order promptly as well.

I've bought ammo from all three you mentioned, all are good to go.

I've also bought ammo from AIM surplus and surplusammo.com, and can recommend them as well.

DSGARMS.COM here in Ft Worth has a nice deal right now on Fiocchi .223, 1000 rds for $339. Good ammo, and top notch folks to deal with.

I had a problem with Wideners, but that was maybe 20 years ago. They had advertised .41AE brass, so I ordered some. Then I waited and waited and waited. I had called several times but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. It took several months of this until I got my brass and heard that they had advertised it before they had it in stock, then their shipment got delayed.

It looks like they have gotten a lot better, I might have to try them again.

Thanks for the responses. I placed an order for 1200 rounds of IMI M855 today from Widener's.

I've bought from both Widerner's and Ammo-To-Go and both are great to deal with. I've never had a problem with either company...

I just bought a case of 7.62x39 (Ulyanovsk) from Widener's. It was advertised as steel case, non-corrosive and BOXER primed. Turns out it's BERDAN primed. I bought it just so I could reload it (I reload a lot of steel) and this is very upsetting to me.
