I wasn't talking about them- I am not qualified to pontificate on such vermin, nor the vermin that serve under them, or the vermin that steal from other vermin in order to harm our fine fighting men, nor vermin that have any other devious power-trip mindset, whether governmental or commercial. Treason should be deal with the traditional way- with lead.

Only thing I can figure, is...it's bad. I'm just wondering if there is something else working behind the scenes and this is just a smoke and light show to cover something else more important- as I say, I'm not qualified- but...who is in charge of the state department? I rest my case.

I'm just saying that's the way I advise each honest hardworking American patriot to do in this day and age.

Honesty in ones daily life and personal business dealings...I agree with you on that 100%. I try to keep things personal and Lawyer free when I can.

Few years back allowed a neighbor to put his driveway entrance a few feet onto the west end of my property. He was all set to get an attorney, etc. We discussed it, shook hands on it...end of story for me.

There are a lot of issues here, many of which have been thoughtfully addressed already by several members.

I'm torn in that I think that journalists should have the ability to use government information to expose government abuses, but the govt. also has to be able to conduct some if its business in secret--it's always been that way.

But this Assange guy on the one hand claims journalistic immunity as a protection against prosecution, but on the other (in his interview with Time mag.) says very plainly that he is an anarchist who wants to bring all governments down. To me that makes his intent non-journalistic--simply an attempt to harm the govt. and therefore the citizens.

It's a pretty fine line as to what to do with this cretin.

As far as the rape allegations, I occasionally watch Beck, and his take on it was that it was a matter of a couple of women with whom he slept over the course of a couple of days, who had no problem with it until they discovered each other and his duplicity. Take that for what it's worth.

At any rate I find it amusing that the tool he is using to rail against government secrecy started as a secret government program...

Why is anyone allowed to bring a lady GAGA cd into a TS/SCI compartmented facility anyway? And he damn sure shouldn't have been allowed to bring it out.

Young servicemen/women have acces to this stuff all the time. But being able to download or copy it to a portable device should be impossible. He shouldn't even be allowed to print it out. Much less remove/copy it in anyway from a computer.

Sad that some old grandma has to be molested by TSA to get on an airplane for a 30 minute ride from Atlanta to Panama City, but people flowing like ants in and out of such a facility aren't subjected to so much as a "courtesy check"? That was security protocol at every TS/SCI facility I used to work in or out of.

I agree 100% about the egg on our faces. I think we're fixin to find out what potty mouths a lot of our choir boys really are! We're going to find out how many of our "friends" have a sense of humor!

I fear our loses are going to be high until be can regain some trust and credibility with the countries barely negotiating with us now.

Assange & Wikileaks are our enemies. They're no different than Al Qaeda & the Taliban and should be dealt with in the same way.
