Amazing. When I saw that second picture, I actually smelled the burning grass and remembered the fire in '74.

I'm assuming you are FF, if so, Thank You!

Thanks for the photos. I do a lot of volunteer work for the US FS here in Missouri.

The last few years a group I started has been keeping a campground open that was set to be decommissioned.

My main contact is Joe Walker, Mark Twain NF, Potosi, MO.You may have worked with him on a fire line.
