Snow again today. Sure burnt a bunch of this stuff over the winter.

What is this "snow" you speak of?
Supposed to be 97 here in my part of ARIZONA by Thursday this week.
We had frost twice this winter, gone by 9 in the morning. It was a pleasant cool season.
This is a pic of my house about 10 minutes before sunset.
It was 90 degrees.
The prickly pear and creosote bush are starting to bloom.
The aloes are in bloom.
Hummingbirds have come north from Mexico and are having a feast on the new flowers.
The mesquite trees are getting new greenery and will be dropping big beans shortly.
Spring is here in ARIZONA.

88 Degrees here in Glendale AZ today. People are still skiing in Flagstaff and I'm wearing my cargo shorts. God I love this place.

It's been in the 30's the last couple of weeks. Pretty late in the season for that. I hope the summer here is not as hot as last year.

45 degrees here in Savannah, Ga. By now I should be in shorts!
Southern Indiana's Ohio River Valley weather suits me right now but check back in a couple hours.
Weatherman had a snow report for the area. 110 miles north, Indianapolis has had 35" so far and Louisville has had 17". Lexington Ky had about 10" more. We got lucky.

Remember when we were kids, and no one watched the weather channel, and no one talked about global warming? And we all went outside to play, summer and winter? We didn't know if it was hotter or colder than last year. We just knew if Mom made us put on a coat it was cold and if she said "Drink lots of water" it was hot. Sometimes I miss those days.

Hey Creeker,
Been in the teens every morning for the last week. This morning was warm at 25. Last year at this time it was 70 degree and the snow was all gone. Right now there's still a foot of it in the back yard.

It wont be that long and we all will be complaining about the heat. Two or three weeks ago three of us guys joined the local ATV club. Right off somehow they wanted me to lead a ride when they heard I knew a certain area. I said they should wait awhile. My buddy voulentered to lead it. I said greg, there is still too much snow over there. He persisted and told me I needed more adventure in my sole.
I am happy I let him lead it! I went along to see the diaster. We started with 21 quads. 11 soon dropped out. We hit snow, all got stuck and we had to lift each other out multiple times, washed out impossible trails etc. Heard grumbeling about maybe they should replace the leader etc. I got to thinking about the donner party! We never did get to our destination, we all got back to our vehicles after dark! Hell ov a way to join a new club! Sure glad I kept a low profile this time! It still was fun!

Ever since Algore and his ilk stopped spewing all their hot air about "Global Warming" it' s been chilly here in NJ. The last few nights the temperatures have dipped to the 20s in some spots.
Global warming. Yep. Global warming. Reckon that's why we've had to turn the heat back on.

The winter was good for us this year but a little early and messed up some crops.I'm not a farmer so for me it was a welcomed cool off.
Some live here only when its to danged cold up north.Then they go home in the spring.
I envy them.

It hit 47 deg. here today. Some more of the snow melted but it's supposed to go down into single digits again tonight. WINTER BE GONE!!

Well, it was in the 30s this AM, but Sunday they're predicting possibly breaking the record high. Looking for it to be near 90. Bring your short pants for the gun show.

We have a nor-easter comming tomorrow and there not sure if its all snow or a mix of rain/snow. I have 1/4 of a cord of firewood left for this year before i go into next years firewood. I'm two years ahead with fire wood right now. Mother nature is spanking us really hard this year. I may put 6 cords of firewood near the house now for next winter. I been burning just 4 cords per year. I use a temp gauge on the stove and pipe so i know when the stove needs firewood and how to set the chimney damper to adjust how much heat goes up the chimney to keep it just hot enough were i don't get creosote or waste heat. I'm getting the best heat and the longest burn i can out of the firewood / woodstove. Without the temp gauges were just constantly feeding the blackhole and wasting wood. Bill

The ice fishermen trucks are on the lakes this morning...ice fishing & consuming beer/brandy in Wisconsin's Northwoods (Minocqua, WI).
2ft of ice on the lakes with 38 degrees by this afternoon. Frost level is 3 1/2 feet as of yesterday.

Not sure how many trailer loads I've put in the basement this year. I use a forced air Clayton furnace. I just pile the wood up & what I don't need I sell.

You want warm? Come out to Tucson for a visit. We have been in the low 80's for 3 of the last 4 weeks. Tomorrow is supposed to break and all time record with a high of 94. Could be a long summer when it starts in March. Oh yes BTW, the snakes are out in droves. Lots of Diamondbacks, they have been denned up all winter and are out, hungry and horny looking for a meal and a mate....not necessarily in that order.
