On your IE-Explorer Bar/Window, Left Side is TOOLS. Go to/Pull down Delete Browsing History, click on that, go to Cookies and click on the box and Delete.

I use the "Safety" drop down menu on top right side of browser window.Same as said above...click on "delete browsing history" and a new small window pops up.I have the top five items checked.Might as well get rid of those temp Internet files that can slow down your computer after a while.

This doesn't get rid of tracking cookies...just the temporary ones when you visit a website.I do a full system scan to trash the tracking ones.
 
Redirecting... has a free version that can clean out lots of stuff depending on which options you choose.
Every browser should have a built in way to delete cookies and a Google search with you browser name and version and delete cookies or remove cookies or clean cookies should get you results with text or pictures or videos specific to you setup.
