Windows XP Computer Question

I just bought my first flashdrive[4 GB ,USB]-i can put music on it-how do i put the music back on My Music and how do i unload the flashdrive?I have Windows XP Home Edition on an HP Pavillion ZE5000 laptop.Thanks.

You should see the flash drive appearing as an external hard drive when you plug it is, just go into Explorer and drag and drop the files where you want them.

Thanks for coming back so soon,Trooperdan-i got my songs to My Music,now how do i empty out my flashdrive?

Just select the songs, right-click and select 'delete". It should go away!

Remember to always go down to your taskbar (bottom right), click on "safely remove hardware" and stop the drive BEFORE you remove it from your computer. Many flash drives and portable hard drives die every day from people just pulling them out without stopping them.
