Good Luck! If I didn't have my wife, this sort of stuff would never get done.

We took our tree down about a week ago. We usually don't wait quite that long after New Years, but we both had colds and were just not in the mood.

Ours all came down last weekend.
Our condo association doesn't allow any decorations to be outdoors for more than 6 weeks. My wife has wreaths for all occasions, yes even a 4th of July wreath! Current front door decoration is a 10" Snow Flake. Then come pink hearts, shamroks, and who knows what for Spring? The by-laws allow NO FLAGS, except for a 24 hour period of Old Glory. So my wife retaliates with vivid wreaths hanging from the front door knocker!

I still have icicle lights hanging out front with no power to them. When it's calm, my wife is at work. I'm not allowed on the big ladder unsupervised.

It reached a balmy 37° today so the boys removed the outside and inside decorations.

As years passed the number of decorations declined to where the house is clear by the twelfth day.
There were times the soffit lights were there until Mother's Day.
