1. below left a photo of the cover of RENOWNED GUN LEATHER.
Here are a few comments: "To say I'm impressed would be an
understatement". John Witty, S&W Moderator and Co-author of
Holstory. "I was fortunate enough to get my autographed copy
today...Gorgeous and highly recommended". Red Nichols, The
Holstorian and Author of Holstory. "The info is solid and the line
up of makers is extensive". Roy Huntington, Editor American
Handgunner. "Phil...I enjoyed reading your book". Bob Arganbright,
Author and fast draw authority.
$26 plus $9 for Priority Shipping. If you order a holster and the
book I can piggy back the book along with the holster and you
can save $9.

How to order: Post I'll take it (and the item number). All forum
rules apply. Then send check or money order to Phil Chriswell
330 Oak Circle Boise, Idaho 83713. Each item includes only the
item described. Guns, knives, belts, and hats are not included.
In the interest of full disclosure, I have punched a small hole in
a few (not all) of my holsters so I can hang them on peg board.

2. SOLD PF 2nd from left is a Brill design. It is for a left handed draw of
a full size 1911, shown with my Colt Gold Cup. It is either an
authentic Brill made by Charles Kluge prior to 1932, or by one
of a handful of Texas makers who were making the Brill design
at the time. Brill purchased the Kluge Bros. Saddlery, and Charles
stayed on and made holsters for him. First I'll take it get's it.
$80 plus $9.00 Priority Shipping.

3. SOLD PF is a nifty little shoulder holster made for a 2"
J Frame (shown with my Charter Undercover). When Roy Baker
sold his holster business the new owner started calling some of
his holsters Hidden Silent Thunder. This is one of them. $35
plus $8 Priority Shipping.

4th from left is a popular Lawrence Model 34 with smooth cowhide
lining and durable weather resistant pigskin exterior. A former owner
did a nice job of shortening it to make it more concealable.
Made for N frames with 4" barrels, and shown with my Model 29
.44 Magnum. $25 plus $9 Priority shipping.

5th from left is a little piece of history. It is a Brauer Bros.
shown below with my Model 19 with 4" barrel. Before 1928
many holster makers had holsters with a loop around the middle,
but they were not able to snap them on or off. It is significant
because Brauer received a patent for the snap on snap off loop
in 1928. $20 plus $9 Priority shipping.
So, Brauer's patent protected them for 17 years. If you have a
holster with a strap around it and it has a snap, it was probably made
after 1945.
