Wolf ammo (40 S&W) in S&W M&P

I just traded my Beretta 96 for a new M&P. I had a supply of wolf ammo. First box through the gun jammed twice. will not eject and casing is stuck in chamber. Big bummer since I have about 300 rounds on hand. Is this an ammo problem or a gun problem. Never had the problem with the beretta.

I have seen reports of extraction problems other people have been having but I think those are with the 9mm. It could be a combination of rim dimensions and gun.
