Wolf match target ammo...

Hello, First time post. Has any one used the wolf match in the 15-22? Do you thank its better then the min mag?

Yes I have used it when I want to shoot tighter groups. Normally I use Federal or Winchester from Walmart. The wolf will shoot groups half as big at 25 yds.

I would think that 25 yards isn't a very good measure. 50 would be better. Most ammo is gonna be pretty tight at only 25 yards.

Even at 25 you can get a good idea of what ammo is doing better than others...

My rifle did not do justice to Wolf Match... waste of money going thru the 1522. CajunMouseSniper recommended Aguila Match Rifle. You might consider trying it for mid priced match ammo.

I used the Aguila 40gr intercepter 1400+ FPS (its the one in the red box) last weekend and just let me say. I couldnt have been more impressed. My father and I have put probably 20K rounds through our 15-22 and this is by far the most accurate ammo thats ran through it. I would recomend this brand to anybody.

That's interesting cuz I usually have better luck with standard velocity for accuracy. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks.

that day i also shot win 333, cci mini mag, win super x, fed bulk, and the fed match. while shooting i was striving for perfection as i was trying to find the most accurate i was at an indoor range so weather didnt effect anything with the aguila's i had 2-3 10 shot groups that were all one hole the rest of the box of aguila's gave me 9 bullets in one hole with the tenth being maybe 1/4 inch out.
