I just bought a model 10-14. It is nearly pristine, and has seen extremely few rounds. The only fly in the ointment is the trigger is heavier than I am used to with my 10-5. Don't know if the older 10 had a kit put in or not. Pull on it is probably 3.5 lbs. New one is closer to 5-6. It isn't objectionable, just not optimal. Smooth, breaks clean. LGS has Wolf spring kits for under $20. Thoughts on them?

I probably should get used to the new trigger before modifying it, but I really like the trigger on the older 10. I am very happy about everything else on the newer one. Basically got a new revolver for half the price of a new revolver.

There is a Mikulek spring kit; Brownell's carries it. I have put in a few, but then I am primarily a DA shooter.

The older M&Ps and Model 10s had excellent SA triggers. I have a 10-5 that is outstanding.
