Woman in Colorado can't get gun back from police...

Here in Ct if you use a gun in self defence you lose it. And it takes a lawyer to get it back. I don't carry a gun that I can't replace. I do carry a cheaper gun at times just for this reason.

I sold my so called assault weapons to ffl license holders not to register them and purchased s&w revolvers. I'm starting to give up the fight.

My state has a deer hunting lottery system and I never got a deer hunting permit in my home state. My misses suggested we purchase property in Vermont back in '86 so me and my brother could hunt deer and bear. Now my problem is years later is going through the state of Mass with rifles and handguns from Ct.

Each state is like a different country, all the gun laws are different. I wish we had a NATION WIDE HANDGUN PERMIT. This would be good for any state in our great nation. God bless America I love this free country we just need a few adjustments to get it right. The people in Washington can get it right.

From the article Sarah Gets Her Gun, National Review Online: "Hoping to expedite the return of her gun, Warren offered to bring all of the necessary forms to the police station and, if need be, to pay the $10 transfer fee herself. The powers-that-be declined to take her up on the offer, fretting that they did not know whether this satisfied the rules."

Read the previous post, #43, from BigBill. These examples are further evidence there is too many government rules and regulations, both state and federal. There are so many rules and regulations that it's impossible to keep up with all of them and even the "experts" cannot keep up with them, "fretting that they did not know whether this satisfied the rules."
