Wood Grips?

Are there any polymer pistols that have wooden grips? Is there some reason that's not practical?

Seems like it would give them more personality.

I would think the poly frames flex too much for wood inserts to be practical. Ruger revolver grips are made specifically for the wood inserts in them. If you tried to do the same thing for an auto like an M&P I think you would have to either use one high epoxy content laminate or it would still just be too thick.
 
I just saw another one the other day that is coming out in 9mm that will have wood inserts.
