Hello all, I wanted to post some information and photos of my 6906. I originally picked it up from G.B. for $300 in good internal shape and fair exterior condition. I have included photos of the before and the up to now progress. I began by sending the entire lower frame to Dynamic Armament, a small company in Iowa and had it Cerakoted in graphite black,(matte). Cerakote is an extremely hard and durable coating, meeting all military specs. Upon the frames return, I installed a complete set of Wolfe springs, a NOS barrel I found online, polished it as well as the entire slide inside and out(still working on this) added new Hogue grips, a spurred hammer from a 5906 and touched up the three dot sights with two color fluorescent. I was having an issue with the SA/DA function which I resolved with help from the members, thank you. It is a very nice CCW and the two tone suits me to a tee. I have a date with a friend to finish the polishing on an industrial machine instead of my dremel. I added the original condition picture and the up to date one as well.
