Does anyone know what an excellent set of 44 mag wooden Mountain Grips go for? They came off the Talo edition of the Mountain gun series a few years back. The word MOUNTAIN is spelled out on both panels. The bottom of each panel is stippeled around MOUNTAIN. Nice dark wood and for a round butt N-Frame. That is about all I know. Any idea if these are worth selling or keeping would be nice to know. Thanks in advance. Saveourguns

Mountain guns do not come with the grips that you are describing. Those were added by Talo.

Value is impossible to estimate without a bit more information. What wood are they made from? Is it real wood or laminate? Who produced them? Etc. etc. etc.

If you posted a photograph that might also help.

Used wood grips get sold for anywhere from $25 to prices over the $500 mark. Yours are somewhere in between.

I know the pair of Mountain gun grips that you desribed I tried to buy a year ago. The cheapest I could find was $95

Those appear to be manufactured by the same company that does the Model 60 Pro grips and the 686SSR grips. I believe that is Altamonte.

You should be able to buy the same grips directly from them for $60-$75 brand new. Naturally, they would be minus the S&W log and name.

so these with the logos should bring $60-$100 in excellent condition. Possible more if you get a buyer that just has to have them.
