Would You Pay More for a Unique Serial Number?

Maybe not , but I'll tell you what is worth $80 to me... how about an opportunity to check the slide fit, barrel lockup, trigger, cosmetic scratches, and a store that will help you if there is a problem with the gun. Oh, the s/n would be a bonus to me.

Cheapest I've seen them online is $999 (I'll assume Stainless), my brother bought his in store for $1050 + tax

Some guys are saying 33333 is not "unique", that all numbers are unique. Maybe I should have used a different term, like different or cool, but you know what I mean. The bottom line is people are willing to pay a little more for a "cool" or meaniful number to them. The question is how much is it worth to them? To me, I like the all 3's on the side of the gun, I think it's cool and rare just to have all the same numbers. I think it's worth a little extra, at least on a $1100 gun. I'm an engineer, and then again maybe it's just the engineer side of me because I've dealt with so much math and numbers in my lifetime :)

Buds has them for $976 with free shipping, which is what I was going off of. Now there's a dealer on GB starting them at $855 or buy it now for $930. That's with shipping. Last one just sold for $890. So now we're talking like an extra $150 for the local one with cool S/N. These are all new guns too, so are under warranty if there's any issues, even with the ones bought online.

I found a SAW 1911 with a S/N that was my initials and my birthday. Bought it for normal cash. Gave it to my son when he graduated college so he wouldn't forget my birthday.
Didn't work.

A gun you want? A cool serial number? You can afford it? What the hell is $80? ;)

I agree 100% with Bobby. ^^^^^^^^^
80 bucks is not much when you are buying a Colt
Delta Elite. Grab it quick before someone else does.
And when you are tired of it PM me, as the number
three is my favorite number.

Been a while since I looked, didn't know they were going for so cheap now.
I would have to agree $150 isn't small potatoes anymore

Well 2 weeks later and I finally worked out a deal to buy number 33333. I like it.
