My question is would you trade the following K-frames? I currently have a 66-5 6" that I use as a woods and close range deer gun. I love the clasic blue guns but wouldn't want to ruin an excellent example using it as a woods gun. Would you trade a 66-5 6" for a very tight 19-2 4" that appears to have been a cop's gun? The 19-2 looks like it has been carried in a holster a good amount. The 19-2 has holster wear and handling marks/light scratches on the gun including orginal target grips which have some dents/scuffs on the bottom of the grips. It locks up very tight and has a great action. So if you were me what would you do? I don't need both and don't have any real attachment to the 66. If it matters I paid $50 less for the 66-5 than the asking price for the 19-2. I love the way the 3-4" K-frames feel, I daily carry a 3" 65, but should I wait for a better 19?

I'd trade it.

The 19-2 is over 40 yrs old and collectible. Plus it sounds like it has a story behind it. Trade an almost new 66 for a P@R 19? In a heartbeat, in my opinion.

Your 66 is a great woods gun and a 19-2 is a very fine K frame (I like the 19's)..........you sure you don't need both?

a "well used & carried...." model 19 -2 for a nice 66 6 inch?? and you already have the 3 inch for "carry"? not me, I'd keep the one you have...too many NICE model 19s out there.....patience

Dont get the 19 for the collectable value. At this time several turn up in like new condition,
You have two fine firearms, One a 6" and the other a 3"
If you like blued guns, Then get one to make yourself happy.
