Wouldnt want to meet this in a dark alley

Om my 2 5/8" 29, you can see the hollow points looking at you not only in the cylinder, but that one at the bottom of the barrel is smiling at you too!

I'm going to look into a 500 box of these!

Try contacting Matt, Im sure he will work with you as much as he is able.

Went to the range Sunday and it was packed as it was a really nice day here. I was bound and determined to shoot a few of these but I was really wanting to chrono the ladders I had loaded with a few different powders so I shot one charge of the 4227 and one of the hs-6, the lowest of both and accuracy wise they were both respectable at 25yds but the 4227 felt awesome, just a big thump in my hand.

Looks good, have you done any testing with it yet to see the expansion? My VERY unscientific method is 4 layers of denim in front of gallon water jugs (usually 5). It's amazing to see how many factory self defense bullets turn into slugs (denim fills the cavities) and don't expand for squat...

A Dirty Harry load. In MAGNUM FORCE DH tells David Sol he uses a "light Special" load. Wanna try it?.... Don't drop it.....

No, I had ladders loaded yesterday to chrono but the range was jist too crowded to do any testing but I could not resist firing a few so I shot the 14gr load of 4227 and the lowest charge of hs-6 and at 25yds both of those at least knocked over the 8" plates on the plate rack. Ive definitely not done any gel tests yet either, mainly because I have no gel. Some water jugs maybe? These are quite a bit softer than any jacketed HP Id guess so I think these would have no issue exoanding in a heavy clothing type test.

I decided to try another route: the Lehigh Xtreme Defense 125gr bullet. The fact that I have all five of the powders they list in their load data for this in 44 Special (and five of the eight listed for 44 Magnum) might have had something to do with it as well...?

The question now is how fast do I need to load these for use in my newest addition: Charter Arm's Bulldog 44 Special On Duty?

Any suggestions?

Cheers!
