Saw my first RM today...well at least my first one since I learned about them when I became a Smith fan late in life.
At a show in Connecticut today,Amoskeag Auctions had one in wonderful shape on display.A 1936 model, inscribed as being gifted by Ed McGivern, cased in a custom box.

The photos of it are at http://smith-wessonforum.com/s-w-ha...pre-war-357-magnum-appreciation-thread-8.html

I think it is post #79 in that thread.

Amoskeag is going to be showing it and other McGiverns until they go up for auction in late March.

It is a beautiful gun! The leather case was originally presented to McGivern by SD Myers.

It's been a "closet queen" in my family for 30 years. Only coming out for the occasional gun show or visitor.

Time for someone else to appreciate it.....

6 or 6.5,blue,magnas.I didn't ask to handle it. It was not priced as I believe it is destined for a future auction.Case was great too. A set that anyone would be proud to own.
