Looking to purchase a shooter grade Detective Special, 2", 38 Special. My 76 year old neighbor and shooting partner (Paul) is a retired California Police Officer. On his bucket list is to once again handle and shoot one of these fine revolvers. He is not fond of the ejector rod shroud. Thought there might be a chance one of you Smith & Wesson folks would have one of these stuffed way back on one of your safe shelves. My price range is $500 - $700.
