there is a small ball and the spring for the selector under the grip. They love to fly out when you take off the hand grip...

If you go to: AR15.COM
you can find am exploded view of the AR-15 with all the parts shown and their names.
About any gun shop should have these springs and ball....They are easly lost...Hope this helps.
