Here is an exceptionally nice S&W Model 27-2 5”. Factory TH, TT, and Goncalo Alves Taget stocks. The serial number is N627888 which I believe puts it late 1970s or early 1980s. I am going to call this one 98+%. I really don’t find anything but a faint drag mark on the cylinder but nothing is ever “perfect”. I have not fired it and if it has been fired the round count must be very low. I just will not call one unfired unless I am 100% sure and I am not. Oh, and while I do not have the box, I do have the original end tag. It is my understanding that the gun came in a wood presentation case and this tag was on the outer box.
