Fired 8 rounds through it. This 1875 model is chambered in 45/70 and is manageable to say the least with the 18" bbl I added a leather stock cover and a leather loop strap on the big cowboy loop valued at $75.00 The wood on this long gun is stunning. The lever is smooth and does not feel the least bit grainy. I have the original box it came with and all paper work
