This weekend we are hanging out at the Albany County Fairgrounds in Laramie, WY.
Friday 14 Sept 3-7PM
Saturday 15 September 9-5 PM
Sunday 16 Sept 9-2PM
Wyoming Football on Saturday Afternoon...Who Cares.
Still can't understand the football. Thought kids went to college to learn.
At any rate we are located at the fair grounds across from the Port of Entry on Highway 287. We are about a mile south of I 80.
Tons of free parking, tolerable food from the 4H Shooting Sports group.
Three day pass for $10 on Friday. Otherwise it is $6 a day.
Several forum members will be in attendance and several others whimping out with some pretty lame excuses.
Debbie and I will be just inside the front door, look for the Flamingo Pink Gun Cases.

Slow Start Yesterday.
Today we are up against an Gunsmith Estate Auction and the Cowboy Football Game.
That just means more parking places for the diehards.
See you there.

Slow Going Today. Only 220 through the door, no really good trading stock being offered up. Bought four old leather holsters for $30 and already sold one of them for $20.
Of all the major sales I had only the Python Grips were mine.
All-in-all we managed to hold our own...just barely, for the second week in a row. But we ate well and had a good time visiting with folks, and sometimes that is more important than making lots of $$$.
Tomorrow is Sunday and we have to wait for the Amen Corner to get out of church before anything happens. We shall see what happens.
At any rate...UW won at home. The town is Aroar. All of the Family in NC and SC is safe and secure after Florence.
We hope everybody has had a good weekend so far and that they stay safe and sound.

Final wrapup was not a pretty sight. Total paid attendance was only 379 for all three days. The Estate Auction and football game really pyt a bind on us Saturday. The Amen Corner never showed after church today and nothing of interest came through the door. No good parts or grips available at the show, did manage to find four used leather holsters for $30 and have already sold one for $20.
Was able to move some dust catchers and made a decent trade for two of my K frames and got a WWI S&W 1917 in .45 ACP plus a wad of cash.
Not all of the dealers did as well as we did. some did better and others got skunked.
Next outing is three weeks away in Rawlins, WY.

I found a 3 1/2" nickel pre 27 at the Montgomery, Al. show Saturday. It's about a 98% gun but it was wearing cheap franzite grips. They had the most older S&W revolvers I've seen at a show in a long time. I didn't bring enough money. One guy had a 4" 57 I probably would have bought but I was a few hundred short. Note to self...take more money next time. I've been to your show before and enjoyed it. I bought a set of Grasshorn stags for less than what Grasshorn charges.
