X Frame Tamer Grips ?

I have a question about the Hogue produced tamer grips on the large frame revolvers (460 and 500's). I believe they are refered to as the X frames. Please correct me if i am misinformed.

Well the question is are these a S&W part only? Does Hogue sell them as well or do i have to go to S&W direct? It is my understanding that these will fit N frames as well.

I was going to put them on a 625JM ti see how I liked them.

They fit K and L frame. They didn't fit the N frame I tried them on.

I promise you they fit N frames. I've used them on my 625-9 Mountain gun. K & L frames? And Yep I bought them from S&W, but I didn't try looking anywhere else.

I have mounted them on L and N frames. They fit properly on both.

Same here...I have them on my X-frame, my PC 629 and a 686. As long as they are round butt, they should fit.

They fit on my 629-5 RB as well. Does anyone else think they feel
"cheap". I guess I am used to the more solid feel of pachmayrs.

There was some electronics supply store selling those grips on
Ebay for cheap. I remember them having a few more sets.
If you're interested their ebay account is wowsurplus and they
have a set on there now for about $30 total.

I normally don't plug people but I remember them doing me right.
