I have a m&p 40 FS and want to try the 9 mm conversion, however don't want to get a barrel if I can't get mags.

I know it's a crazy question but........anyone know where to get the 17 round mags for 9 mm ?

Yes, go to your local gun store and buy a full size M&P 9mm and you will get two 17 round magazines.

Other than that, no unless you want to pay through the nose.

Check the Accessories for sale section, I just saw a set of three used ones a few minutes ago on there.
