Welcome to the forum. The serial number would indeed help narrow the date range, but even without it we can say not before 1948 and not after 1958. About $400-450. You can give us the serial number with a couple of digits hidden, like C1234xx.
Those are not the original stocks, and are not even from the midcentury S&W workshop even though they have S&W medallions in them. The diamonds are too big, the checking field has sharp corners rather than rounded, and the upward end has a heavily radiused edge rather than the less rounded or even ridged upper ends seen on S&W magnas from the late '40s and early '50s. They aren't bad stocks; they just aren't original. The big diamonds are a feature of recent automated grip production from several shops.
