At least you could get a bigger grill. How do you fit anything on that?;)

Heck it's 91 F and 90% humidity here.

Another day in Paradise!

Dear Heavenly Father:
Please forgive me my snarky post regarding the heat and humidity at 6:45 in the morning.
Amen.
PS would you please stop the rain long enough so I can cut my grass without renting a bush hog???
Amen.

So what would you expect for Louisiana in July? Here in East Texas, we had a cold front all last week, highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s. Felt like November. Now we're back to normal, it'll be 100 in a couple of days.

Last Wednesday morning I arrived at the river just at daybreak..
the mist was moving downriver at a nice clip and the temp was 58 degrees.. felt real good for mid-July in the South!

Trout fishing.. Hiwassee River

I love the heat and humidity. Yesterday, after the usual 5.6 miles of roadwork before noon, took the wife and her kin from Texas out on a commercial airboat for most of the afternoon. Ran up on a nest guarded by momma and harassed a couple bull gators. The big pink British tourist wanted to reach out and touch one "T'ave a tale for back home" but I convinced him not to do it and just make up a story. Did another 5.6 this morning and finished about half past noon. Spent the afternoon running errands and generally enjoying the sunshine before the 4pm boomers, which are still booming. We had a couple days of no rain so we gotta catch up. I'll bet it never got above 91 or 92. Now drinking a gallon and a half of liquid and getting one "drain" does give one pause. Joe
