I never seen it 'till today. It was OK. It beats watching a bunch of idiots hanging around on the Jersey Shore, which I never actually seen. If you seen this I have a question. They track two chicks through the mountains above the Mojave Desert following their tracks. But what about the tracks of the camera crew? They were following these women around filming them, but the trackers never mention their tracks.
And please. Reality shows suck. I know that. I don't want to get into a big thing about how stupid reality shows are. But I just wonder about the film crew. That makes me sceptical. If you seen this what do you think? We watched it On Demand. They have one more on there I might check out.

I hate to say this but it stinks.I think its bogus. The camera thing bothered me when I watched about a month ago.It kinda looks like a bunch of buddies making their own reality.
I don't see it as real.

I find it one of the most annoying and pointless shows on television these days.

The idiots are dodging and hiding and shushing each other... while there must be two or three camera and sound guys swarming around them.

The probably even have a skycam from the Goodyear blimp hovering above them as the trot along.

Of course those goof-balls on the horses can find them. Well duh!

I tried Googling the rules for the "Mantracker" show. Found out it's all a set up.

I've been on horse back enough to know that if you're after some people in the brush, you aint catching them unless you get off the horse. But I know know how easy it would be to hide from someone on horses if you're dragging a camera crew with you.

demonstrates the endless creativity in contriving an opportunity to market advertising space & time, on a low cost production budget requiring no script, make up, set building or writers unions.

At times it's the 'best thing on' in these parts....which considering the hordes of cable channels & on-demand choices, means I have another opportunity to head outside to do a few chores...if it weren't so cold & wet....

so then I turn it off & head for the internet...

I found a discussion forum on this show and someone said what we are seeing are reinactments of a chase that already happened. Which makes total sense. But it also gives the participants on both sides a chance to censor out or embellish what they really did. I might watch one more but this reenactment stuff is a turn off.
I'll stick with American Pickers.

Don't particularly care for any of the "Survivor" show's either. Sarah Palin is barely tolerable.

Someone who actually knows what they are talking about. I too have been on enough horses to know that their capabilities are much more limited than people like to think. I watched Mantracker a few times but found it so ridiculous that I turned it off. If you are on foot and wanna escape a tracker on a horse, just climb a 15 foot cliff and you're home free. Unless we're talking unicorns here who can fly over any obstacle, I'll go up against a guy on a horse any day...... :)
