All time best pie is a fried pie.

My wife's maternal grandmother, Granny Helen, made some pretty fine fried pies. Dang. Now I'm hungry again, and I just had breakfast.

Apple pie. My Mother made the best and my Sister makes them just like her. Crust made with lard. Good crust is half of the pie. Need a mouth watering emoticon here.
