You have raised an interesting point: Streep is an excellent actress, but not visually appealing. Biel is a really good actress who also turns male heads.

Streep did well in, "Out of Africa", although I can't say how much she looked like the real Isak Dinesen. (Real name was Karen Blixen. Dinesen was her pen name.) Redford was pretty close to the real Denys Finch Hatton.

Very few men would see a movie with Meryl Streep in it, unless the film appealed heavily for other reasons.
I don't doubt that Jessica Biel draws male moviegoers even if a movie is otherwise bland. One James Bond movie was just so-so, except for Denise Richards. Denise also added a lot to, "Wild Things."

I haven't seen anything here that I'd consider to be soft, medium, or hard porn. Apart from the aforementioned Juggy, I've never seen any girls on ANY gun forum that I'd deem to be porn. Some members are just arch conservative, and have very rigid views of what might be pornographic. These views are not shared by many other members, who are more open minded, and who seem to be enjoying this topic. This is not, after all, the Victorian era!

In the main, apart from the hecklers, the thread seems to be very respectful of board standards.

I've gotten very burned out by the behavior of some here, and wasn't planning on additional posts. But if others like the topic and want to continue to post, fine. I doubt that a fair moderator will see anything that needs to be censored.

The trouble with threads like this is the constant moderation they require.
People are obviously going to post pics of beautiful young women in this thread. Those pics always begin to push the limits for the board. Then, in the wee hours, after a few drinks, sometimes they go way past the limits as Bubba wants to outdo the earlier posters.

The rules specifically say:
DO NOT put "Babes with Guns" or Girly pics in your posts- PERIOD.

So, frankly, I don't see how fighting these threads on favorite actresses/models/female singers advances the study of S&W, and I know for a fact our female members have no appreciation for them.
