I've wandered through the various threads on the forum and wonder if anybody ever asked where or how you all pick your screen name or "handle". Some are quite unique and probably have in interesting history. I'm afraid mine's not much, just a shortened last name with a number after it. Anybody care to share??????

I use "italiansport" because by the time I got on this forum my usual handle "james m"(first name last initial) had already been taken. It reflects a bit on my ethnic background and is easy to remember.

Robert Wayne Smith.......rwsmith....that was hard. I have such a broad range of interests. Too broad, I think. I have hard time coming up with a name. On my chess site I'm pawn999. Often you come into a site, don't know how much you'll be there so give it some kinda name you want forget even if it is boring.

When I joined the forum I was really into 2 things, Bama football and riding my motorcycle.
I'm still a big Bama fan but riding has fallen by the wayside. Still have the bike but friends don't or just can't seem to find the time.
Maybe I'll talk to Lee about changing my name. How about,
