Your screen name, what does it mean.

I think we all need to go back and look at all the badges lawandorder has packed over the years.

That's feller that deserves the thanks for his years of service.

Self-explanatory: I am a fan of all Smith & Wesson revolvers...

If I ever were to change that handle, it probably would be to something like Papa Bill, which is what my grandchildren call me.

Badger is the call sign my troops gave me when I was a major. A PITA Lt Col was harassing my guards who controlled the entry point to his complex. He would never return my calls or get me on his calendar so we could work it out and get him of my men's backs...so I told the guard not to open the gate when he came to work -- locked him out. I waited for his phone call. It came and he backed off my men.

One of my MSgts told me I was a badger. Whaddya mean? He said "damn sir, you're all smiles until some a**hole kicks dirt in your hole." The name stuck.

Wickahoney is Piutte that supposedly means much or lots of water. It is a spring that has never stopped flowing that anybody knows of regardless of the drought and the high deert canyon associated with it about 20 miles east of the ranch. Flowing water is a pretty special thing in this country. I spent a LOT of time in and about both growing up.

It is also unique and unless you are from or closly associated with Owyhee County, Idaho it doesn't register with anybody. It is my "Name" everyplace on the web except the two places where my 1st Cousin stole it as a joke.

It was just something obscure I could remember and that nobody else was going to use.

My handle comes from a 1980s Forigner Rock-N-Roll song with the words
"He's Gonna Teach You A Lesson, Might Even Show You His Smith & Wesson.. HEADKNOCKER"
I don't usualy go around bashing in skulls

BoB The Palindrome--relatively self explanatory BoB or BoB.

Not so obvious is the thought behind the name. Origin is from a song done by Riders In The Sky (to the tune of Paladin)

Palindorme, Palindrome, what's in a name.
Palindrome, Palindrome, both ways the same........

My name is Frank, and I'm an addict...

addicted to .45's that is.

Iggy, I would be proud to shake your hand.

Back when I was a young and impressionable fellow, I saw the movie "Hackers". The main character's handle was "Zero Cool".

It was far too awkward to keep typing, so I shortened it up and appropriated it as ZerCool/zercool. Almost any place you see that on the forums, it's me.

There's this "Zero Cool" too, a Hard Case Crime novel:

I read it a few months ago, not bad. (Not deep, heavy, but entertaining.)

When I first started deer hunting back in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, my grizzled, old hunting buddies tagged me Gutpile Charlie. My first name is Charles.
