All.
Gunshow in Yuma this weekend. We get three a year. Temp 85-90, might bring some warm cloths, winter is setting in.
Opened the gunsafes this morn and was trying to determine what I wanted to take to show to put on table. Am I a S&W guy, a Colt guy, or M1 Garand guy. I have had three tables before. Lots of work to move that many guns.
What was most obvious was how many guns that I just had to have for some special reason that have never been fired. Do I really need 23 Post War K22's, I use 2 of them for most .22 revolver shooting. I put them in catagories. 1 line address guns. Rest of the 5 screw guns, 4 screw guns. I sold all the 3 screw K22's last Yuma show.
What are all the those 41, 44, and 45 caliber N frames about? Only a couple are comfortable to shoot and ammo is priced out of sight. Why do I need a bunch in S serial range and the same models/calibers in the N serial range. What is wrong with me??
Do I really need 29 M1 Garands, I shoot 2-3 of them at most. Who really cares that 4 companies made them and they were used in several wars and came in many variation, and why do I think I need one of each.
Why do I have a table covered in Colts Double Actions, I have way to many Pythons. They all have funny trigger pull. I drag out the Officers Model Match's, I have a couple, in .22lr and see if they will compete with the K22's for accuracy. They will with select ammo. Neither stands very tall against my Model 41 S&W. Who cares, I only shoot tin cans and wild desert liazards.
I guess I like quality firearms and they are made by many companies.
If any one really needs??? another gun of the type I have mentioned, come to the Yuma County Fairground, I have plenty to pass on.
If you have any good S&W's or Colts or M1 Garands that you might want to sell, bring them. It might the gun I have been looking for and may be the last one I will ever need.
