Can anyone tell me about a good deal on 1000rnd cases of 9mm, shipped. Hopefully without taxes. Thanks to anyone who consider sharing with me.

SGammo sent out an email today with a variety of cases in the $255 to $265 range. They have free shipping on orders over $200. I have no idea if they charge Texas sales tax. Taxes will vary state to state and vendor to vendor.

Recently at a Gun Show- saw 9mm at $99 per 1000.
Re-man , Company unknown to me, didn’t buy any.
I liked those cute Plastic Ammo Boxes it was in.

I bought some reman 5.56 back in the 20th century for $10/100 in a baggie. Not one round would chamber in my bolt rifle nor any AR's. Gave it to a dr. that reloaded, he wrote 20 extra Rx that week. Gun show reloads= "less than zero." Joe

The ammo folks were rambling Rangers, from out of town.
They had a bunch and I mean a **** load of ammo.
That included some hard to find calibers.
The $99 - 9mm was their sucker bait come see what we got.
Their other ‘regular’ ammo wasn’t necessarily that cheap.

$99/1,000 for even remanufactured ammo is too high IMO. There is no way to know if the ammo is safe and any good. If the guy selling it doesn't have the proper FFL there is no way it should be sold and bought. (FFL 06)

SG ammo. They will charge your local tax rate. I have ordered from them many times with no problems ever.

shawarms.com is not charging sales tax to out of state buyers presently. They have Winchester, PMC, and MagTech 9mm at $13.99 per 50-round box. Shipping for a 1000 round case is $14.95, which brings your delivered total to $294.75, or $14.74 a box.

sgammo.com has the same ammo for $20 less per 1000, with free shipping, but you will have to add sales tax into the final delivered price.

targetsportsusa.com has PMC, MagTech, Blazer Brass, Aguila, Sellier & Bellot, all at the $260 price point per 1000 with free shipping, but plus tax. Remington is at $270 per thousand.

These prices are about as good as you'll get for name brand ammo from a reliable seller. If you find something lower, let us know.

S G has been very good to me. Not the best price on pistol ammo but pretty good. The AR or AK ammo S G has had great deals in the past. The Tax thing is getting harder to not pay...Thank your stated leadership for that one.

Keep an eye on Bereli.com. Last time I purchased from them, I paid the listed price, and that was it. They advertise free shipping, and didn't hit me with state sales tax. Their prices aren't currently amazing ($260 for Blazer Brass, $250 for aluminum), but that's the amount you will pay.

To consider it a bit differently, what would be a good price on good quality accurate ammunition? Looks like this would be preferred over the cheap stuff that just goes bang even if it costs a little more.

Ammo Planet has CCI Blazer Brass 9mm ammo in 115 or 124gr at $11.99 per 50-round box.

Shipping via FEDEX home delivery for a case of 1000 is $16.08.
