A couple of threads are going about new minimalist holsters and pocket carry without a pocket holster. A coincidence, I’m really liking minimalist holsters nowadays.
Below are mine. Show us your minimalist holster and please include:
• Holster make,
• Gun for the holster,
• How you carry it (e.g., IWB at 3 o’clock).
Starting at 6 o’clock in the pic and moving clockwise – all guns worn AIWB:
• J Frame – bobbed hammer 637 – “Universal” revo Clipdraw;
• Kahr MK9, 9mm – “Universal” semi Clipdraw;
• Glock 26, 9mm – Side Guard “Minimal Clip” with the “security clip” option – I took a razor knife to this holster and decreased the footprint dramatically. I have 3 more of these in the original format and they are all excellent holsters for AIWB carry; and
• Glock 19, 9mm – Fist “Ultra-Thin Kydex #1k” – while this holster has the biggest footprint, the kydex is thin as greeting card paper, while maintaining shape and retention.
