BG380 + Techna Clip + Mexican Carry?

I'm considering buying a BG380 (no laser) and carrying with the Techna clip AIWB sans holster. I would plan to carry with one in the chamber and safety on. I've spent a lot of time looking at various pocket, hybrid, and other holsters but really like the minimalistic approach for concealability especially in a t-shirt and shorts climate.

I have a PM9 and Shield9 with a variety of nice holsters but find I don't carry as much because I feel they print too much for me. I don't want to give up a pocket for carry. Would you carry IWB with just the Techna clip, safety on, and one in the chamber? Anyone think the safety could deactivate IWB?

Printing isn't as much as an issue as you might think, people simply don't care. They are in their own world and aren't actively looking to see if people have guns or not, if anything if someone was to notice some sort of bulge they would more than likely think it was a cell phone. I live in Florida where it's hot all the time and basically wear t-shirts and shorts year round, or a polo type collared shirt and I carry a Glock 30S IWB everywhere everyday. Never once have I been concerned about printing. If someone was to notice, so what... As far as being armed is concerned, my carry guns always have one in the chamber. If I ever have to draw it on someone, time is of the essence.
 
I looked at those clips and decided "no". My little sparky is so easy to conceal IWB, pocket or vest carry. Much easier to conceal than my Shield. If my BG .380 is indicative of the model I wouldn't worry about the safety changing position. It's pretty stiff, I can't swipe it "off" while drawing and the trigger is long and heavy. The BG would deploy much quicker without having to mess with that stiff safety. If you DO get the clip I would add the teathered kydex trigger guard from Raven or a Q series stealth minimalist. For what this pistol was designed for, speed and ease of deployment are #1 with me.

I wouldn't. Safety or no safety, the trigger really needs to be covered no matter where on your body you carry.
Without the trigger covered, the actual "carrying" doesn't bother me as much as sliding it down into the pants and removing it without the trigger covered, you know THAT'S when they go off unexpectedly, right?
I don't care for the bulk of most pocket holsters either (for my LCP) so I bought a Kydex pocket holster. It's thinner than nylon or leather.

Those clips are a really bad idea.

Too easy to slip down your pants.

Then you're grabbing at it to keep it from hitting the ground down your pant leg.

If you catch it, you risk a Plaxicico Burris nd or, if you miss, having to pick the not so concealed gun up off the floor.

No good can come from this sceme .

I tried using a clipdraw (similar to a Techna Clip) with a trigger guard on a Glock 42. Didn't work for me. It sat deep enough in my pants, my waist band made the grip challenging and got in the way of the draw.

You can find very thin kydex IWB holsters (6mm IIRC) on Amazon and EBay that have minimal printing (if any) and allow a good grip/draw.
 
A BG380 is a double action auto. The trigger and hammer works the same as a DA revolver. The hammer down is not resting on the primer. I think it as safe as a DA revolver.
A Glock and other striker fired pistols that I know about do not have DA triggers. The slide cocks the gun so they are always cocked. Larry
 
Kydex iwb appendix holster made by FoxX. It's called Delux trapp, for the BG .380. It's good for me. Never had the safe on.

Q-serries

My .02 after using the clips on both LCP and G42 is go with the stealth Q-series holster. I just got it but it takes care of a couple of really important issues. First it completely covers the trigger guard. I was always a little uncomfortable with not having the trigger protected and then I put a reduced pull trigger bar in the Glock which dropped the 42 to around 5 Lbs of really sweet pull. After that I just couldn’t carry it without the trigger covered. Secondly it raises the grip up which both makes it easier to draw and more comfortable to carry.
I’m like it best at about 3:30 but appendix isn’t bad too. I’m really surprised how well it keeps the gun tight to my body.

No. Just no. Nothing that doesn't cover the trigger, even though my EDC is a DAO revolver. You can bet that if I acquire the LCP I've been considering, it will assuredly be in a good pocket holster,

As for printing, I pocket carry a J-frame wirh Pachmayr Compac grips. If anyone has looked up from his Iphone long enough to observe printing, nothing has ever been said. I think 99.5% of people aren't paying a damn bit of attention.
 
The only Hand Gun I would use that on would be the Bursa Thunder in 380 cal.
And the reason being is the safety physically blocks the Hammer from striking the firing pin so even if You were able to pull the trigger it would not Fire.
