Glock G19 is the only 9mm I have for CC. I've had for 14 years and it is bone stock. No problems ever.

Smith never made a better concealment pistol than the 3953, slick sided and dependable. But if you don't like DAO the 3913-14 are great also. Yes the H&K P7 m8 or PSP are just about the best shooting small auto's ever made be anybody, but they are expensive and a little more complicated to work on. Nothing in 9mm shoots any straighter. High Powers are great but they are not that easily concealed especially in the summer.

You know Sip,
I always liked the way the full size USP H/K product felt in the hand. But there were just too few of them available as rentals to try flying before buying? I think I've seen (new) 2 or 3 of the 2000 model you mentioned. But I'll confess, after you mentioned them I had to go to their web site to realize that's what I'd been looking at? The Germans have always had a great reputation for pistols!

I hated Glocks when they came out. I thought they were the ugliest pistols ever made. Then I finally shot one, (G22, 40S&W), and fell in love. Those ugly things suddenly became very pretty! I now have grown to love their industrial look and the Tenifer finish you don't have to baby or polish.
Oh yeah, my choice is my G26 9mm. Recoil is little more, (to me), than a .22 and I've got hundreds if not thousands of rounds through it and never a hiccup. Very accurate little piece too.

In 9 mm I mainly carry a Para "PDA", but I also rotate in a kahr k9 & MK9, a glock 26 & 19,a bretta 92 compac, a s&w 39-2 or a h&kP7. I also rotate in other calibers.

Glock 26 with mag extensions (+0 but a better draw feel) is my choice 90% of the time. For bicycling / exercise / thin shirt, a CS9.
Once in a while, my CZ75D-PCR just for the hell of it.
I bought a FNP9, but I never found a good holster to conceal it. Now, I'd rather carry one of the other three so I quit looking.

CZ 75 D PCR for me. In Galco Yaqui holster and Crimson Trace laser grips. Best natural aiming pistol I own. Czech quality and Swiss (SIG P210) design (slide rides on top of frame). Great capacity, compact, rugged, lightweight. Did I mention sexy looking? Loaded with Cor-bon +P Pow'R Ball ammo. For those of you not familiar with this round, the 100-grain +P Pow’RBall screens at 1340 fps. Recovered bullets average .49 caliber with 10.75 inches of penetration. Feeds like ball ammo.

Browning HP or Sigma. +'s and -'s to both. HP is slimmer and conceals better, Sigma has more capacity, although if you can't bring the bad guy down with 14 shots.....

Glock 19 off duty, Glock 17 on duty.
If I could carry anything I wanted, I'd still carry these guns.

I'd go with the 3913 9mm as a great conceal carry. It's durable and hasn't failed me yet. Although when I was a poor recruit all I could afford was a model 64 2" .38 special which many of my compadres laughed about until we went to the range and many couldn't qualify with the glocks they all bought. The model 64 was all I could afford at $262.00 which is a good deal.
My 3913 I carry the most often I bought for $225.00 with two mags and a holster which was posted for sale at work in the locker room.
I still carry my model 64 sometimes though.

3913 I got for $200 from a cash strapped buddy. I felt a little guilty about that price but at the time had no idea how nice a gun that 3913 was...
Am considering a Kahr PM9 just because I find myself carrying my P230 often because of the even lighter weight...
