I'm still laughing at myself...
I thought I had put a .22lr Erma Luger on layway...
NOPE!! It was a KGP68A 7.65mm/.32acp!!

I always preach Inspection Prior to Purchase...
and this time, I skipped it...didn't even READ THE SIDES!!
All I did prior to layaway was rack it, stick a plastic dinky in the breech,
and pulled the trigger...there was a solid mark on the plastic,
so I knew the FP & stuff was working fine...no further checks...
just haggled with the salesguy and laid it away for $250.

Picked it up today, didn't even look at it, just stuck it in my cargo pocket...
then checked it out at a notoriously long stoplight on the way home...
where my brain suddenly went "HUH? What the Heck??"
pulled the mag and was checking it over with a pencil...
& realized it was NOT a .22lr magazine...
I then looked at the markings and discovered it was a KGP68A,
and the KAL 7.65/.32 stamp was quite prevalent...
welp, NOT a .22lr, for sure...lol

So...what the heck do these things like to eat??
have 4 different grain offerings...60-, 65-, 71-, & 73- grain bullets,
from several manufacturers...ammo is easy to find for .32acp at the moment!!

If it doesn't like domestic .32 ACP try European stuff.
My .32s generally do well with RWS FMJ 73 grain ammo.

Do not have an Erma .32. I think I would have one if I'd seen the deal you found.

I didn't even know there was an Erma in 7.65. Interesting find. I shoot Fiocchi 73gr from my Feg Walther PP clone and it runs great.

Uh. Wait a minute. Are we talking 7.65×21mm Parabellum?
(AKA: ".30 Luger" or "7.65 Luger")?

Because that is not the same as .32 ACP !

Ah okay. That makes more sense. The KGP68A was mostly chambered for .380 Auto, so that .32 chambering might make it sort of "rare". Still probably a jam-o-matic, but a rare one. ;)

The ammo easily available in my area is Aguila .32 & Fiocchi 7.65/.32 :)

I went with the Fiocchi, had awesome results with their .44mag awhile back.
