You must know nothing about Uberti firearms to even ask this question. I have two Uberti Cattleman SAA .45 Colt revolvers, two Uberti 73 Sporting Rifles, one in .357 and one in .45 Colt, one Uberti brass Henry in 44-40, a 61 Colt Navy. I have owned an Uberti S&W Russian in .44 Russian, a second model dragoon and another Cattleman in 44-40.

Uberti quality is top notch, much better than just about any US made firearm that you will see today. The fit and finish is superb, the quality and finish of the wood is excellent. I have shot 1000's of rounds out of my Uberti firearms, all of them have performed very well. I had to replace a spring on one of the SAA's once.

Any Uberti would be on my short list to buy, currently I want to add a Schofield No 3 Top Break, I just can't make my mind up on barrel length and older, out of production firearms keep popping up for me to buy, maybe 2019 will be the year for me to get one.

Uberti's are pricey, they always have been. But you do get what you pay for.

While I've not owned one I have shot a few when I competed in SASS Matches. The ones I've shot worked fine and were descent quality. That's about the extent of my experience with them.

I had a Uberti 1873 in .357 Magnum. It was magnificent. A friend offered me more than I could turn down, and he still has it and LOVES it. I will likely replace it down the road.

They seem about as good as a modern replica can be, and fairly priced for what you get. The only reason I see not to get one would be if you'd rather have an original instead of a replica.

By all accounts I've heard, they're top quality, which ought to be expected from a company who at one point produced Single Action Army Revolvers under license from Colt, and in recent years was acquired by Beretta/Benelli.

Besides, they had better be good at those prices.

Picked this Uberti up a couple of years ago, used. Had these stags as well as the original wood grips in the factory box.
I'd say very good quality, with limitations of the inherent design. Sights are close to the original design, which is very SMALL.
I feel like listed retail prices are kind of high for these, but they are nice.

I have many Uberti lever action rifles and revolvers. All are top notch quality fit, finish and run flawlessly.

I have a Schofield copy bought a number of years ago. Fit and finish are excellent, but I had to file the front sight to bring POA and POI together, and it began misfiring after about a year because the mainspring lost tension. I made a new mainspring and have had no trouble since.

Never paid much attention to SAA "clones" until
this came across my table at a gun show a year or so ago.
Comparing it to my Colt SAA's only difference is the stamping.
Excellent fit, finish and function.

I know nothing of them. Thanks for the review. I'll have to keep an eye out for them from now on.

I have one. Well made but at least in my example, an atrocious trigger that breaks at almost 7 lbs after gritty creep. I need to address that problem. They are not inexpensive.
I bought some .45 S&W brass to duplicate the original loads as well as .45 Colt loadings but have not handloaded any yet.

I have an Uberti replica Colt Navy. Very fine piece. The fit and finish is great and it shoots quite well.I wouldn't hesitate if you are interested in a top-break to buy one. The best part is then you can shoot it all you want, parts are available and if you have an original you can keep it as original as possible while still enjoying the design.

I have a 5" Uberti/Navy Arms Schofield in .45 Colt. Excellent gun. Extremely well made and very accurate.
I used to have a Hombre, which is their cheapest SAA clone. While the finish was very plain and nothing fancy, the gun itself was first rate. I only sold it because the SAA style frame just doesn't fit my hand well and I can't shoot them worth a darn. :(
That's why I went for the Schofield and have never regretted it. ;)

I have two Uberti Cattleman. Both are excellent. The grips are perfectly mated to the frame; unlike those on Ruger Blackhawks which are made offsite and simply screwed on during assembly with no fitting at all. Ubertis are relatively inexpensive, much cheaper than Blackhawks and certainly MUCH less expensive than Colts. I have also considered getting a Schofield, but the price has made me hold back.

Jay,
I have had my Wells Fargo for perhaps two decades now. It is chambered for 45 Long Colt

It shoots good and has never given me a day's worth of trouble.

Not to mention that I think it looks cool.

It has been sitting on the edge of my desk for a month now.

Great conversation starter
