I have a Walther PP 344498p, which is a 1944, so I suspect yours is as well. They are not the factory grips. The finish seems to be in pretty rough condition, but that may be the photo and lighting.

I'm going to take a SWAG, and say it might be worth $600 + or - in that condition.

Not a very good picture of mine, but you can see the grips.

Prices do vary a lot. First of all, what is the caliber? I can't read it, but I'm guessing .32 caliber. Second, what are you trading for it? It looks like it is about 70%, give or take, condition. Also check the Walther forum for serial number years, and import marks. Check the barrel, see how much rifling is left, check the springs and mags, as well as the hammer and safety function. Just because a gun is old, does not always make it valuable. Good luck.

It is a .32 caliber and I have checked the gun out as to springs and mags, as well as the hammer and safety function and it is in very good working order

The front sight may have been trimmed a bit from it's original shape,,might just be the pic.

The left grip might be a very worn orig,,maybe even a later production than the gun.

Looks like someone had some problems getting the trigger pin back in the gun after disassembly or maybe it had a problem with backing out and has been staked to hold it in place.

Just a couple things I see,,and they might just be as a result of the pics too..

Values,,I'm not in step with much anymore.
I would scan over Simpsons long list of Walther PP pistols. They include pre-war, wartime and postwar and all sorts of condition and variations.
Keep in mind they are priced at the upper end generally of the retail trade but they are still a good way to collectively see a good number of the guns and compare values and details.
They do turn a lot of Walthers ,

Put in 'Walther Model PP' in the Search

Nice pistols and very comfortable shooters especially in 32.

I bought one recently (this year for $500 in about same condition from 1940 with all correct markings.
If there are Nazi military stamps it increases the value. Mine had the german proof marking but it was not military marked. Your best bet is the Walther Forum. They helped me a lot.

Your Walther PP is a late 1944 gun and the grips are late war grips so they may be correct. Pictures are not very clear but it appears to have the Waa359 stamp on the left frame which would indicate military acceptance. By it's condition it's value is around $500 to $600, give or take.
A tip on photos. Shoot them out doors on a cloudy day or at least in the shade.
